DNA profile with parentage analysis is a DNA test which includes a DNA profile (ISAG 2020) and parentage analysis. DNA profiles of all animals included in the analysis are needed for parentage verification.

Blood samples are preferred for DNA profile testing because the method is very sensitive to DNA quality.
